Welcome Pastor Barbara Smith

We welcome Pastor Barbara Smith to Pioneer on July 1.  She comes to us having been pastor of Grass Valley United Methodist Church for the past ten years.

To find out more about Pastor Barbara, the editors of The Pioneer Spirit, Steve and Linda Witmer, sat down with her in early June.  You can watch their conversation below.

Pastor Barbara's first Sunday at Pioneer will be July 5 for worship, including Holy Communion, at 10 a.m., followed by a potluck welcome lunch.  We look forward to welcoming old and new friends on this occasion.

Worship

We meet each Sunday at 10 a.m.  Music in worship is led by our Chancel Choir and our praise team, Pioneer Praise, with additional musical offerings from our Handbell Choir.

Sunday School for children to 5th grade is offered during all worship services.  Youth Sunday School is offered each Sunday during the school year except when Holy Communion is served and all stay in church.  Nursery care for the under-3's is offered each week from 9:45 a.m.
